Data Accuracy & Reliability

AirTrace provides air freight handler information on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we make every reasonable effort to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any data presented on this platform.

Handler assignments, contact details, operating hours, FIRMS codes, and all other information displayed are sourced from a combination of AI-assisted data collection, public records, and community contributions. This data may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect at the time of your query.

Airlines may change their handler assignments at any time without notice. Handler facilities may relocate, change phone numbers, adjust operating hours, or cease operations entirely. The information shown on AirTrace may not reflect the most current arrangements.

User Responsibility

It is your sole responsibility to verify all information obtained from AirTrace before taking any action based on it. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Confirming the correct handler facility before dispatching a truck for pickup or delivery. Sending a vehicle to the wrong handler can result in wasted time, fuel costs, driver detention charges, and delays in cargo recovery.
  • Verifying operating hours before arrival. Facilities may have different hours for holidays, weekends, or seasonal periods than what is listed.
  • Confirming free time and storage policies directly with the handler. Storage fees at air cargo facilities can accrue rapidly — often $0.10–$0.25+ per kilogram per day — and failing to pick up cargo within the free time window due to incorrect facility information can result in significant and unexpected charges.
  • Verifying FIRMS codes with U.S. Customs and Border Protection or the handler directly before filing customs entries.
  • Confirming contact information (phone, email, address) is current before relying on it for critical communications.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall AirTrace, its operators, contributors, or affiliates be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this service. This includes, without limitation:

  • Storage or demurrage fees incurred due to incorrect handler or facility information
  • Costs resulting from dispatching vehicles to incorrect locations
  • Delays in cargo clearance or delivery due to incorrect FIRMS codes or handler data
  • Lost business, revenue, or profits arising from reliance on information provided
  • Any penalties, fines, or charges resulting from customs or regulatory filing errors

By using AirTrace, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these risks and agree to independently verify all critical information before acting upon it.

Confidence Scores

AirTrace displays a confidence score on each handler listing. This score represents how recently the data has been verified and is not a guarantee of accuracy.

  • 90–100% (Green) — Recently verified by the community or our data systems. Information is likely current, but should still be independently confirmed.
  • 80–89% (Yellow) — Verification is aging. There is a moderate chance that some details may have changed since last confirmed.
  • 70–79% (Orange) — Data has not been verified in a significant period. We strongly recommend confirming all details directly with the handler before relying on them.

Confidence scores decrease automatically over time and reset when a community member re-verifies the data. A high confidence score does not guarantee accuracy — it only indicates recency of verification.

Community-Sourced Data

Portions of AirTrace's database are contributed by community members and industry professionals. While all community submissions undergo moderation review, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted information. Community contributors are not employees, agents, or representatives of AirTrace.

By using AirTrace, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer and agree to its terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this service immediately.
